...take it easy Minime, don;t get a hard-n, I'm not adressing you, I'm undressing you.

In the first place I have no intention of defining anything for his benefit...my job here is to expose him...he can expose me all he wants to.

In a way the popes were right when they fought Luther tooth and nail saying that once they allowed one monk to interpret the Bible for himself...ten thousand others would take to interpreting biblical "truths" for themselves. And that's exactly what happened...there must be 500 different Protestant sects each of which believes it has the "real truth" of the Bible...what God "really said". Which of them is right? Who can ever tell. All we can say is that each of them believes he understands THE TRUTH...or "real" Christian truth.

Minime is a born-again...the most obnoxious Christians of them all...but the good thing is that they're giving Jesus the blackest eye he ever had...in fact, if a person really hated Christianity, he could do no better than to give Born-Agains every chance to undress themselves...which is part of our function here.

Anyway...Everyone has his own "original" idea of what truth is...Minime has his own...his pastor has his...his neighbor has his own...thr guy across town has his own and so on and so on...and I do as well. Everyone has some notion of truth he or she operates with.

But what the guy across the street thinks, or Minime thinks, or I think the truth is is beside the point...in fact, it was never the point until Minime stepped in it.

If he wants to reveal what he believes as truth, let him. No one will stop him or much care.

Minme has his own interpretation of the words of Jesus in St John...just like the other fellow who just joined in, he no doubt also believes it's a metaphor, or allegorical or something. But what no one can deny is that those words ARE THERE...right there in the Bible. Sure, everyone can interpret them as they choose to...bring to them whatever spin they want...what do I care? makes no difference to me...and it has no bearing on the central issue, which was not "what is truth"...but what is Christian truth as far as Jesus expressed it in the Bible on this topic, without any interpretation at all...to begin with.

But the words are THERE...right there in the Bible. Minime has yet to acknowledge THAT simple truth. What he resents is the fact that I say their meaning is direct and clear...that Jesus is talking about REAL meat and REAL blood...and he is telling his followers to eat and drink him....except Minime's religious beliefs reject the simple reality of those words and instead bring "personal" truth in to it...even "original truth"...which they've been encouraged by their own sects to believe is their duty and right...that each person must have a PERSONAL relationship with a PERSONAL God....fine, power to them...who really cares...except that's at the core of his latest dodge...he HAS to discredit the actual words of Jesus, because that is the view of the Catholic church and the Eastern Orthodox church and he is Pentacostal or one of them who defines himself as oposed to most of orthodox beliefs.

But he knows he can't handle any further discussion on the truth of the actual words of Jesus...he can't argue about metaphors and allegories and all of that...hasn't the intellect or words or means or disposition...he has monkeys and virins and flies and "stupidstupidstupid"...like they all do. I'm surprised he hasn't gone after my mother or children.

There is no doubt whatsover about the actual words of Jesus...or what is actually in St John.,...or what the pope and cardinals and bishops teach and believe...or what millions and millions of Christians through the ages have believed...you can ask any one of them and he'll tell you...so it's hardly in doubt that THEY all believe the actual truth of the words, as they see it.

All that remains is how one choses to interpret them. For my part I don;t care to interpret them at all....I have no interest in whether they are true or real or not...my only interest is that THEY believe them to be the real words and actual meaning of Jesus....not all Christians, certainly...but then none of them agree with the other and have fought bloody wars over the silliest trivialities...my only concern was to affirm the fact that Jesus really said what he said and, that he MEANT what he said....that doesn;t mean Minime can't reject what Jesus said, but he can't deny that he SAID those words IN those words....certainly he is welcome to give his own "original" interpretation of what Jesus "really meant"...but I have no interest in that...let him think what he wants, define truth and anything else the way he wants...this is a free and open forum.

But there can be no argument about what the actual words of Jesus are...interpret them as you wish...or that the Churches have taught these lessons for centuries, or that millions and millions of Christians believe them to this day.

That was all I set out to prove...and I did.
