...can't say how many times some pundit has been caught implying that things the US did brought on the consequences we've suffered and, when challenged on that, has been quick to say "No, we didn't do anything to deserve this....".

What did Iraqis do to deserve what we did to them? Or Iranians, besides have oil?

All the hand-wringing about terrorism and jihadists and defending ourselves and our loss of civil rights because we have to be SAFE...all of it is nonsense...nonsense built on a foundation of a great lie: that we did NOTHING to suddenly make the Arab world angry at us. The most we will concede is that they are "jealous" and therefore want to destroy us, because of envy...which is such a crock of shit!

I don't listen to the news any more...not even Rachel Maddow because they aren't covering the REAL news, which is that conservative rich Americans have been trying for decades to blunt the Constitution, limit our ability to sue them, or vote against their interests and also trim our rights and sense of peace and security by creating enemies to scare us with..the better to control us and get our money.

The key to resolving our security concerns is not the silly debate over how much liberty do we give up for security...that is a false argument, a distraction. All this blathering about government tapping our lines and getting our phone info and the rest of it is part of the distraction...the situation we find ourselves in which supposedly justifies all this Patriot Act bullshit is easy to understand and no one is talking about it or dares to mention it...

The key is Israel, and NOT because the Israelis are Jews...they could be Christians or French and it would make no difference. Israel is a European colony forcibly maintained in the midst of Arabs who are then demonized because they don't like their lands stolen and their lives ruined by ANYBODY. The fact that it is Jews doing this simply makes it harder, supposedly, to speak the truth.

There is no evidence at all that Arabs are "violent", certainly not when compared to Christians, or Europeans....for 500 years Europe has been wracked by wars of Christian against Christian...the 7 years war...the thirty years war...the religious wars...the Napoleonic wars...great swaths of Europe have been stripped of humans and animals....economies devastated...and in all that time what wars were Muslims engaged in?

It was Christian Europe that persecuted and murdered Jews for 1000 years, not Muslims...and yet who bears the brunt today for Christian crimes against Jews...who has paid for these crimes if not Muslims, who are smeared with being "violent" and "hating Jews"...and many other such lies.

Who stops a two-state solution from being implemented if not Christians of America and Europe? These people pretend that Arabs have always been violent so there is nothing we can do but gut our Constitution, pay out trillions in protection money-racketeering and hunker down for a long drawn-out and INEVITABLE war...in which we are GLAD to give up our freedoms because we are promised SECURITY...by the very people who make sure there can be NO peace in the MidEast, and then blame it on Arabs to keep us looking "over there".

I'm not interested in news stories about Israel, the Golan Heights, rocket attacks...I don't want to keep abreast of these stories for they are all distractions meant to keep us thinking that this is all inevitable, intractable...that it has gone on between Arab and Jew forever and there is nothing to be done.

Bullshit...the solution is simple and Arabs signed off on it long ago...it is USrael that doesn't want it because FORTUNES ARE BEING MADE...and at the same time the rich get their wishes...the stock market soars and millionaires trip over billionaires while the rest of us get poorer and poorer.

Israel is the thorn the Christians stuck in the side of Arabs...and it's no good treating the symptoms so long as that thorn remains..let the Christians remove that thorn and there will be peace almost overnight...if we don;t make too many enemies in the meantime. Remove the thorn by finalizing a two-state solution and there will be peace...and all the experts and pundits and think tankers will have to get real jobs.
