Having banned ourselves from active involvement in worldly affairs we naturally want to ban the world, or any part of it that doesnīt conform to our expectations of how the world should value us. Thatīs because we canīt even get any respect as Christians...fahgettabouditt as Assyrians. Having so little self-respect and self-worth we bristle at the slightest reflection in a mirror...hence the popularity of dark spots like beth and aina.
