I live in Tennessee, so it's "the South." & yeah, my Volvo's almost been in some pretty serious collisions with side-swiping SUVs. They don't even see yield signs, & the concept of right-of-way seems to be a complete mystery to them. In fact, sometimes when I've cross the streets on my *walk* to work, I've come close to being run over by a few SUVs - they can't even see an adult who's 5'5." I mean, what about kids, who are much shorter? What's really bad is when the driver is completely oblivious to the outside world because he/she is too busy talking on a cell phone while driving.
You drive a pick-up truck? Cool. :)
