I stopped dating for a couple of years after the rape - & it took a lot of negotiating for my current boyfriend to get me to go out with him the 1st time. I'm glad that I did, & still do, but it's been so difficult - I didn't want to trust him, or anyone outside of my family & my best friend since 3rd grade. It's taken me 2 years to finally trust him, & he's done nothing wrong. If anything, he's had a lot of patience. The guy is awesome, the best thing that's ever happened to me in my personal life.
