+++How long can people go on commemorating their worst moments...their sadest memories? Why? What can you hope to accomplish with that? What will remembering do for you? What can it lead to?

+++Would you tell your daughter to celebrate the date of her rape once a year...and do nothing else for her, or expect her to get on with her life...to replace that awful memory with brighter days? Why?
