Are you saying then, that if the other side won, that we would all be better off as Moslems? And yes C.S. Lewis was a Christian apologist, but he didn't start off that way, he began as an atheist. And one point that I would think that you would agree with Lewis on is his assertion that, "We don't have control over what we feel, but we always have control over our will and, therefore, over what we say and do. And what we say or do determines whether we help or hurt others." Lewis always emphasized that Agape is a "state of the will, which we have naturally about ourselves, and must learn to have about other people." This was a basic principle of human relationships for Lewis. He made the point that when you will the best for someone and act accordingly, even toward a person you don't like, you begin to dislike that person less and to like him or her a little more. I am trying to see your point of view, but I get lost in all of the invective. What exactly is your worldview?
Assuming, for the sake of argument, that everything that you have said is true - what is your solution?

: Of course...as long as you start first with the greatest purveyor of violence in the modern world...the Christian United States. Saddam is nothing compared to what this country has done...nothing at all. United States policy has killed far more Iraqis than Saddam ever did. Go to the source...go to Washington, and increasingly the offices of the same CEO's who rob and ruin people in this country...who poison our own air and water...long before they poison anyone else's.

: Bush is the greater threat to world peace and to the American people and their Constitution...not Saddam.

: CS Lewis was a Catholic apologist...he WOULD say that. Christians have more blood on their hands to account for than any other group in our history BAR NONE. The Mongols were nothing compared to Great Britain, Germany and the United States. naturally you are "partisan"...as any Mongol would have been.

: All cannibals like the taste of human flesh.
