..you need it. As awful as it seems to be making jokes and satircal comments now...now more than ever, we need to keep our own humanity alive...or else this barbarity will have done its damage to us as well. Several times in a day I catch myself brooding and dejected...I know these things happen all around me..but there is something special and cynnical in the way this violence was sold...everything in America is bought and sold.

It isn`t being insensitive..it`s a way of remaining able to feel...to relieve the tension in the gut that may result in you having to finally turn away for good because you just can`t take the unrelenting horror of it all.

So laugh when you can. I do it by going to aina...where they`re designing the first Christian stamp for Assyria. It shows Christ delivering the mail...nailing each letter to the door of a hut in Assyria.

Go to beth if you want to know exactly how much money that bishop stole..or didn`t steal...twenty years ago. And all of them are good for a laugh when it comes to morality and Christ and ice cream parlors in Baghdad where all is well. Then there`s abu Jassim with his changing aina policy that morphs right before your eyes...deKelaita may come by looking for dead Christians he can help...Jajo`s Travel Agency always has an exciting promotion..."see a village and die" is a good one now.

If things get dull and you`ve got an intellectual bent there`s always old bent Fred Aprim singing the praises of those who sing the praises of America and this stealth policy of approaching democracy through your asshole.

You have to laugh to stay human...and we need Humanity now more than ever. So, Tiglath...after you lie down...go visit aina.
