Coordinated Blasts Hit Iraqi Churches

...now you can feel what Muslim Assyrians felt when the United States bombed their holy cities and mosques...what goes around comes around, you lunkheads "for Jesus".

By TODD PITMAN, Associated Press Writer

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A series of coordinated bombings targeted churches in Baghdad and the northern city of Mosul during evening services Sunday, wounding at least 20 people in the first attacks on Christian places of worship in Iraq (news - web sites)'s 15-month insurgency.

...ah SHIT!!! What good are WOUNDS! Sorry fellas...better luck for you next time.

The church attacks came amid a flurry of other bombings in and around the two cities that killed at least 10 Iraqis and an American soldier. The U.S. military confirmed two other explosions in Baghdad in the evening, but their target was not immediately clear.

The church attacks in Baghdad appeared to be car bombs. The two blasts exploded just minutes apart outside two nearby churches — one Armenian and one Catholic — in the Karada neighborhood.

...for the life of me I can`t figure out what took so long. Imagine mosques in New York city where the Muslims DEMANDED the right to security while a war waged against New Yorkers BY MUSLIMS was raging for 14 years. You know damn well that the sons of liberty would have torched the mosque ages before.

...am I ENCOURAGING attacks against Christians...NO...George Bush is doing that...with help from Kanna and the boys...by bombing Muslims to death.

Massive plumes of black smoke poured into the evening sky over the city as firefighters struggled to put out flames leaping from the front of the Armenian church and several blackened cars.

"I saw injured women and children and men, the church's glass shattered everywhere. There's glass all over the floor," said Juliette Agob, who was inside the Armenian church during the first explosion.

...Get their names or it doesn`t count...right Aprim?

At nearly the same time, two blasts struck outside a church in Mosul and a third blast hit a bridge, Iraqi officials said. There was no immediate word on casualties.

...yes there was...several grown boys were seen to leap in the air in joyful anticipation at first news of the blasts..then they called around like mad trying to get NAMES...only then did witnesses notice several of the same boys weeping in frustration...one activist was heard to say, " I`ll MAKE them kill those people next time...if it KILLS them"!

Militants in Iraq have kidnapped more than 70 foreigners in recent months in an effort to push countries out of the U.S.-led coalition that invaded Iraq and toppled Saddam more than a year ago.

...well of course they would dummy...wouldn`t you?

At the same time, the campaign of violence waged by insurgents since the fall of Saddam Hussein (news - web sites) has not waned, despite last month's transfer of sovereignty from the U.S. occupation authority. About 160,000 coalition troops, mostly Americans, remain in Iraq.

...nothing was transfered anywhere but blame. Violence can`t wane so long as the Americans are bringing it to Iraq.

In Fallujah, U.S. forces briefly entered the edge of the city overnight in fighting that shook the area with huge explosions. Marines were firing tanks at insurgents who had opened fire on them with mortars, machine-guns and rocket-propelled grenades, the military said.

...give them tanks and see what happens.

Coalition aircraft also dropped guided bombs on a building in an industrial zone from which gunmen were firing, the military said.

...says you.

At least 12 people were killed and 39 wounded in the fighting, a Health Ministry official said on condition of anonymity. The U.S. military said it had killed 10 assailants during the clashes.

...the US military says a man they drowned got up and walked...more Jew stuff...I suppose he walked over water on his way to his grave?
