Psalm Three

When my words were earth...
My friends were stalks of grain.

When my words were wrath...
My friends were chains.

When my words were rocks...
My friends were streams.

When my words were a rebellion
My friends were earthquakes.

When my words were bitter apples
My friend was the optimist.

But when my words became
honey...
flies covered my lips!...
