...let´s see...Bush says America doesn´t torture...that means we know he ordered torture...he´s a born again and they always say the opposite of what they do when it comes to public pronouncements of their "morality".

I don´t remember Saddam insisting that Iraq must be able to torture people...I don´t recall any vice president of Iraq going through the frantic motions Cheney did to make torture LEGAL.

We can assume all we want to that Saddam ordered his bad apples to torture people..but we have no proof...unless in the new and more secure America you don´t NEED proof...just your gut feelings will do and you can hang a man.

But, in America we have the proof! McCain´s bill specifically was introduced to STOP our president from torturing people...and Bush and Cheney fought hard to exempt the CIA at least. That means that they knew there was torture going on in Abu Ghraib and everywhere else...knew it and want to do MORE...McCain´s bill is a new one...what Bush wants is to go back to the old way...a time when he could order torture.

We KNOW Bush ordered torture, because we saw him frantic to keep torture as an option...we don´t know Saddam ordered torture...only that it happened.
