...where's Bethsolomon when you need him?
"Baghdad, Iraq (CNN) -- Just days after the militant group the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria said they killed hundreds of Syrians, dozens of Iraqi Christian families are now fleeing the ISIS-controlled city of Mosul, hoping to avoid a similar fate.
On Friday, the al Qaeda splinter group issued an ultimatum to Iraqi Christians living in Mosul -- by Saturday at noon (5 a.m. ET), they must convert to Islam, pay a fine or face "death by the sword."
...note: the Christians NEVER allowed for taxes as a way of avoiding the other two....no one gave six million Jews the chance to pay a tax.
...a man who murdered someone ten years ago has no right to pull rank on someone who killed someone yesterday...both are cut from the same cloth; murderers.
Isis may or not be killing Christians JUST because they are Christians...this wouldn't be the first bit of propaganda sent our way....but, if they are...who gave them cause is not Christians...who attacked their countries if not Christians? If Americans can proudly say they will "never forget" the events of 9/11, can we blame Muslims for also not forgetting what has, is, and will be done to them and theirs?
When the Jihadist Crusaders captured a Muslim town they gave only two choice...convert to Jesus or die.....there was no chance at escape, that is when they didn't just slaughter them outright. So let's keep our shirts on; what Isis is doing is no different from what Christians have done. If you say, "that was then"...then answer when, in the last 200 years, Muslim states began a World War or sailed thousands of miles from their borders to attack innocent people...all things the Christians are still doing.
It is useful to point out, again, that the destruction of the status quo in that region, which saw Christians living in peace with their Muslim neighbors, was brought about by an illegal war against Iraq plus the continued persecution of the Palestinian people, a people who must NOT fight back in any way against their oppressors and occupiers, BY Christians. Christians get so self-righteous, and forgetful, that you need to yank their leash every so often.
