...do any of you remembr any Iraqis "pleading" with the White House or anyone else NOT to Attack their country? I don't. Have they pleaded with America at any time since then to stop? No. Instead they gritted their teeth and resolved to protect themselves as best they could and fight back...and though they've paid a terrible price, they've done just that...while our boys are still PLEADING that the same country that DID this to BetNahrain help THEM!

...what every Iraqi will remember is that Johnny and Albert and the rest of them pleaded with America and Britian to DO THIS!

Faced with growing repression by Muslims,

...sorry....sympathy goes to the Muslims of Iraq who are the REAL people suffering today..you are...how do you put it...? Oh yes, "Collateral Damage".

Christians from an ancient tradition in Iraq are calling on American political leaders for help before their entire community is extinguished.

...Assyrians are from a much older tradition...you Christians came from Israel and are usurpers...also traitors.

Christian Assyrians and some of their supporters demonstrated in front of the White House yesterday, highlighting an alarming trend reported by the U.N.: While representing just 5 percent of the Iraqi population, 40 percent of the refugees fleeing the country are Assyrians.

...are you surprised? It isn't Muslims who are attacking Iraq..it's Christians...how could Christians feel safe in Iraq after that? If Buddhists were attacking Iraq, Iraqi Buddhists would feel unsafe...is that weird to you?

One of the speakers at the rally, Nina Shea of Freedom House's Center for Religious Freedom in D.C., told WND that because of the "ethnic cleansing," the Christians want an autonomous district in Iraq they can administrate.

...ask Santa.

In one month alone 3700 Iraqis were killed...600,000 Iraqi children were starved to death as a POLICY of the United States...I'd say that's ethnic cleansing gone wild...when told that 27,000 of those babies were Christian, you say they were merely collateral damage, nothing personal...well then why aren't murdered Christians, when murdered by Christians, also the victims of "ethnic cleansing"? How come THEY are merely an "accident of war"?

...you will never ever get an autonomous anything in Iraq...except graves for the poor bastards you set up.

The zone, called the Nineveh Plains Administrative Unit, would allow Assyrians and other Christians to practice their faith, speak and teach their language, and work their land without fear of persecution.

...no one is going to make a Christian ghetto in the midst of Muslims...what would you do if your neighbors became rude...or impolite? Ban them? Plead some more?

Unlike the Sunnis and Shiites, the Christians have no militia and are completely defenseless, Shea said.

...as REAL CHRISTIANS that's the way it's SUPPOSED to be...did Jesus have a militia? At least he lived up to his principles.

"They need to administrate their own governmental unit to protect themselves," she said. "Otherwise, with the chaos and violence and persecution targeting Christians for religious reasons, which the U.N. has documented, they will disappear.

..the UN has NOT documented their "religious persecution"....that is your lie...the Christians killed deliberately were marked for retribution because they COLLABORATED with those attacking Iraq...you dweebs think everyone is fooled by you the way YOU fool yourselves...Christians have been welcome in Iraq since the beginning...that's why most of them STAYED all through Saddam...they were driven out by CHRISTIANS bringing this war to Iraq...and all the Iraqis have to hear is that you are begging the murderous American administration to GIVE YOU a piece of Iraq...are you sure you don't HATE the Christians who remain behind...because they give you the lie by having chosen to remain all these centuries...while YOU were claiming you were all being PERSECUTED? Do you WANT them martyred as punishment? Not consciously...but do you HATE other Christians as you hate the Assyrians?

Shea insisted it's in the interest of the U.S. to take a stand.

...she hasn't proven it yet.

With the loss of the highly educated and skilled Christians, she argued, Iraq is "experiencing a brain drain as well as sane drain – a force of moderation and a bridge to the West."

...sure...like there were no brilliant Muslims among the hundreds of thousands of babies America starved to death.

"They have served the U.S. in Iraq nobly, and they will leave a real vacuum," said Shea.

...that's ALL the Iraqis have to read!

While the Christians in Iraq have been repressed for decades, Shea pointed out, they have suffered more since the war began, with kidnappings, crucifixions and dozen of churches bombed by jihadist terror.

...they have not. That is a lie...the ones who have "suffered" did so because they betrayed their country by going to work for the attackers...far more Muslims have been killed for collaborating than Christians...far more Muslims have been killed PERIOD!

Among the atrocities documented this year:

Father Paulos Eskandar, of Mor Afrem Syriac Orthodox Church, was kidnapped Oct. 9 by Muslims and decapitated two days later. He was murdered despite Christians fulfilled a demand to post a text on the church doors condemning the pope's statement about Islam.

...inspite of there being no WMDS the United States starved 600,000 children to death AND attacked the country...even after finding NO such weapons the United States went on destroying the country for the last 4 years...weigh that against one priest and see how RESTRAINED the Iraqis have been.

On Oct. 4, a car bomb detonated in a Christian area and killed nine people, including Georges Zara, member of the Assyrian Chaldean Syriac National Council.

...sad but nowhere near the numbers killed by America in its illegal war.

A 14-year-old boy was crucified and stabbed in the stomach, mimicking what was done to Jesus, in Albasra.

...yes, but he went to heaven. Are you NEVER pleased? How many innocent people were raped and murdered in AbuGhraib by America...where was your outrage then?

On Oct. 21, in Baquba, a group of veiled Muslims attacked a workplace where a 14-year-old boy named Ayad Tariq worked. The men asked the boy for his identity card. After seeing he was Christian the men asked whether he was a "dirty Christian sinner." Ayad answered: "Yes, I am Christian, but I am not a sinner." The rebels yelled he was a dirty Christian sinner and continued to grab him and to scream, "Allahu, Akbar! Allahu, Akbar!" The boy then was decapitated.

...American prisons are filled with psychopaths...the Americans opened the prisons of Iraq and let the prisoners loose...to commit crimes against the people...

In August, 13 Assyrian Christian women in Baghdad were kidnapped and murdered.

...shit happens.

In January, churches were bombed in Basra and Baghdad.
Shea noted that the Kurds, who control the north, have been denying the Christian Assyrians many of the benefits that have come from U.S. largesse.

..."American largesse"...that's funny. I suppose if someone sodomized you and then gave you an ice cream cone and a towel to wash off with you'd say he showed "largesse".

The electric grids created by the U.S., for example, are left to the discretion of local governments to distribute and manage, and the Christians say they aren't getting their fair share. They cite instances of Kurdish villages receiving electricity while neighboring Christian villages are denied service.

...for centuries Afro-Americans haven't gotten their "fair share"...these things happen to minorities...Iraqis also aren't getting their fair share of Iraq...Iraq is a DEMOCRACY...that means if the majority wants to deny services to a minority they are within their democractic rights to do so...ask the United States.

Shea said she has been raising the plight of the Iraqi Christians with the U.S. government for several years, including in a face-to-face meeting with President Bush in her role as a member of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom.

She has not received a positive response.

...gee. It must gall her little Christian balls to see al Hakim shaking hands with Bush in the White House...do you actually think the United States has NEVER killed Christians before? NO one has killed more Christians historically AND hysterically than OTHER Christians....!

"One of the issues here is that the Christians don't create trouble, they are just victims," she said. "They don't blow up things, so they don't get attention.

...no, they just PLEAD and BEG...see how much attention THAT gets them? The Iraqis weren't blowing anyone up either..they did nothing to deserve this war...yet you Christians were thrilled and saw in it an "opportunity" to push your agenda...your karma is coming back to bite you in your soul....or the hole where you should have one.

Some have told her the U.S. government doesn't want to establish a precedent of favoritism, by responding to special pleadings.

...nah...that isn't it. It's just that you people are a liability all the way...you have nothing to offer this administration...you thought if you bent over for Uncle Sam he'd be grateful....surprise!

But Shea argues, "It's not favoring one group to make sure they get their fair share of U.S. construction aid.

...THAT'S it!!!! That's what all this pleading boils down to...you want to build CHURCHES!
