.....rich people don't create jobs. A rich person can only buy so many pairs of pants, or cars, or jet planes....no matter how much they buy they won't keep factories in business.....but 50 cents an hour more would allow 50 million people to buy another pair of socks and THAT creates jobs.

Rich people who own factories or want to start factories or other business do NOT want to create jobs...the last thing they want is to hire more employees...if they could get one machine to do everything for them, that's what they would get....owners try to lay people off, to reduce the expense of having employees...however, if they HAVE to, they'll create more jobs.

No one is creating jobs to make things or provide services because there is no one with the money to PAY for them....what's the point of starting a company to make something or do something when you already know most workers are out of work or barely have enough to eat and can't afford to buy that thing you want to make, or do? It's to the point where it's not even worth making things in poor countries because they've already bought all they can afford and now even THEY can't buy more...and Americans can't buy the stuff even if you pay a worker 2 cents a day to make the stuff.

You want to sell stuff? The PAY your workers enough so they can buy the stuff! That's all economics anyone needs to understand. Economics is very easy to understand...it's made complicated because they have to keep the scam going...like those derivatives and stock deals and swaps not even the people who profited by can explain...it's supposed to be dense and baffling...because otherwise you'd see the obvious. When you want to hide something you don't put it out in the open...you HIDE it.

The government announced recently that they paid the unemployed too much in benefits and want the money back. Other than the fact that they don't have the money to pay back, where does the government think that extra money went to? To Swiss accounts? It went to the grocer, the landlord, the repairman, the clothing store, in other words it went back into the economy..you know, to make it better???

They're pulling the paper out of their asses anyway, why not pull it out and give it to those who really need it for a change?

There will be no more jobs unless there is a demand for more workers...and there won't be that demand if products don't start moving off the shelves...and those products won;t go anywhere unless the people, the workers, have the money to buy those products, and the workers won't have the money to buy those products if they don't have jobs and jobs that pay enough so they can afford to BUY those products....what the fuck is so hard to understand about that?

If Obama gets a Nobel Peace Prize for his wars, I deserve three for my theory of economics.
