xxx The reason why the U.S. government may have wanted that service discontinued was NOT because it was helping the Iraqi military by forcasting U.S. military news, but because Venik was translating *news* into English that wasn't as *doctored* as either the U.S. & Russian governments wanted it to be. The *English* translation is the key - *news* with delicate information that wasn't meant for the English speaking public must have been mixed into the "intelligence reports".
