I like Abunimah a lot. He has a lot of spine, & he actually has pointed out a few interesting things to me (& others) through his articles. His words are like a breath of fresh air, just like his colleague's (Ibish's) words. Both are absolutely wonderful people who devote a LOT of time to causes that I am sympathetic to. I don't care how "original" anyone's statements are.... True originality happens very rarely. & also, originality can be defined differently by all sorts of people. So, criticizing someone for not writing something with original content is a kind of meaningless thing to do, wouldn't you say? Unless, of course, the person writing the article screams out & says: THIS IS ORIGINAL!
I don't know why there are no Assyrians doing the same as him. That's a good question. Maybe there's one in training right now.
