+++ "Christianity" in itself - either real or formal or nominal or pseudo or NO affiliation with it at all - doesn't seem to be the deeper or crucial reason for such Assyrian absence in the cultural intellectual landscape:

E.g. Armenians, Greeks, Jews, etc have done some great careers and made respectable contributions.
