You know what. I'm really pissed off. It wasn't just Assyrians who died in the Genocide Maggy. It was Assyrians, Chaldeans, and Suryoye, and maybe even some Syriacs too. For example I know that the Elkoshites went and fought in Jeelo to help their Assyrian bretheren. I'm sure some of them died. Why are you people so unfair? Why are you unfair Maggy? I have not read the book yet, I will read it, but why do we all have to call ourselves Assyrian to be one Nation. Ha Belzeboob, you are just Assyrian too? I thought you are part Chaldean. Are you a Chaldo-Ashur...or what are you? Please explain to me why we couldn't say that Assyrians, Chaldeans, Syriacs, and of course Suryoye died in that Genocide..maybe Suryoye even died the most hun. What about my family members who died in the Genocide who were from Tur Abdin, who called themselves Suryoye? What about them? Even if they were ethnically Assyrian in origin, just like in ALqosh, I mean who can be more historically Assyrian then Alqoshniye, but it is not what they call themsleves now, so why not respect that? Ever read "Not Even My Name"?

If you think thats simply what they did, you just displayed why we still need ppl harping (as much as I find it annoying 2) about the genocide today. Cause obviously some ppl, and despite all the 'moaning & groaning', Still haven't a clue what happened. You might wanna buy the 'Crimson Field' and read yourself what they really did to Assyrians in the Ottoman Empire.
